If you were to ask any of my friends from high school, they would all tell you that I have always been “that friend” that dresses up no matter the occasion. Having twin girls was a blessing to my fashion soul to get two sweet little dolls to dress up with me every single day! How fun is that!? It’s really the best and they love it just as much as I do (thank goodness!). I hate to fit myself into a style category because what I’ve always told myself when it comes to style is (in my opinion at least): fashion has no rules and you can pull off anything if you wear it with confidence! With that being said, you will find me in all styles from dressed up and girly to sneakers and band tee. I love it all and even more I love that I don’t have to define myself to a category, and neither should you!
Dressing up is a way of life in my opinion. I mean that quite literally. When I dress better, I feel better. It’s actually hard for me to dress down and sloppy. I have tried (for my friends, lol) and it never turns out well! When I look like a troll under the bridge that’s exactly where I want to stay- under a bridge for no one to see me. I lose motivation to do anything and have the excuse in my head that, “I can’t do this or that because I’m not dressed for it.” So the way I dress definitely affects my day to day success and productivity. It also helps with confidence. If I’m dressed down I’m so worried about who is looking at me and judging (which is a horrible way to live). But there’s something about being dressed up and loving my outfit that makes me not care at all about anyone’s opinions. I keep the mindset of, “I like my outfit and I think I can pull it off so it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of it as long as I like it and feel great.” In the end that mindset is all that matters to me and definitely makes me feel like I’m living my best life and I’m my best me! That’s why I started sharing publicly what I love and wear because I get so many questions, I want to help everyone to feel this way!
In this season of my life you can expect to see a ton of cute and comfort clothes, AKA maternity wardrobe! EEK! I’m so excited to dress my best with baby in tow. It’s going to be so fun! I’m even more ecstatic to take you on this journey with me. While I’m dressing the bump I will still be dressing my twin minis!
